Academic regalia
Okay, an academic gown costs five hundred damn dollars? That includes the cap and hood, but sold separately those two items only come to $150. Judging from my bachelor's graduation, I could make a better gown in thirty minutes than those pieces of crap. Maybe things have changed and these are made by Loro Piana and trimmed with cashmere or something, because, yeah, I think I'll be renting this stupid thing instead for a mere one hundred bucks.
