That reminds me. I've been meaning to rent Happiness for like three years now. The video stores that I've checked say they don't stock NC-17 movies. Does anyone know where the dirty video stores are?

at 10/6/2006 7:36:26 PM- There are plenty of independent video places around town that probably carry NC-17s, but the big question is who of them actually carry artier stuff like Happiness. I'd suggest calling the Movie Nut in Kirkwood. Depending on where you are, it could be a long drive, but most of their older movies (DVD only) are, I believe, $3 per week. In any case, their selection's a bit limited, but they have a shelf devoted to Criterion Collection DVDs, if that tells you where their heads are. I've been meaning to see that movie too!
It's all about the Netflix. Get yourself a trial subscription, and go all porn crazy. (Or Cinderella crazy--no one will know.)
