kim says "His enthusiasm was refreshing." NYT has a Museum of Natural History guy who says "he could be considered a biologist," and his death "is depressing because the last thing you want is for the guy who says things are safe to be killed." I'm sick now of hearing about the dangling his infant son off a balcony above a crocodile, or whatever it was that happened. NYT also reminds us that South Park caricatured Steve Irwin, in what is known as the greatest South Park episode of all time. They forgot to add that his caricature kept saying "I gotta be careful." They also forgot to say "South Park is an animated television program: the one with all the poop jokes. Television is a means of sending moving images over long distances."
