Greek fest watcher
The Greek Festival is going on right here, right now. Traffic is heavy even for a weekday. I didn't hear music from Zorba the Greek or Never on Sunday, but the food vendors seem to be serving. I assume the live music will start soon.
According to Wikipedia, Melina Mercouri, star of Never on Sunday "was a heavy smoker and when she died [of lung cancer], hundreds of Greek citizens left her favourite brand of cigarettes as a memorial at her shrine." Um, isn't that a little tacky? Like leaving shotgun shells at Hemingway's grave?
