Lots of abortion news

The NYT today covers the abortion ban that South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds signed. The article cites the state's Web site, where a statement from the Governor mentions Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka as an example of the when the Supreme Court "reversed decisions." I haven't yet made it to the state's Web page. Perhaps it's Slashdotted. The Times article doesn't mention the Missouri bill that relates to abortion, or the other Missouri one that I can't find just this minute. I wonder what other states might have similar bills in the works.

In a different article, the Times found little change in teen abortion rates after states enacted parental notification or consent laws. They include a couple anecdotes, such as "I would have told my mother anyway."
